Immigration Advisory Service - Community Legal Advice and Representation for Immigrants and Asylum Seekers

IAS wish to recruit 2 experienced immigration/asylum solicitors, one of whom will have at least 3 years’ PQE. We are looking for people able to develop leading casework, and, through supervision and internal training of others, inspire colleagues to think strategically and improve their ability to provide an excellent service to clients under LSC contract conditions. Especially because of the uncertain future of legal aid funding, applicants will need to show commitment, stamina and flexibility. The posts are currently located in the Higher Appeals department in our London office.

Candidates will be accredited to level 2 or higher and if due for reaccreditation will be required to pass before being confirmed in post.
