Paralegal (Accredited at LSC Level 1)

Salary: c. £18,500 pa upwards

Location: Derby

Term: Permanent

Very much on the front-line of our services, you will provide advice and support to clients seeking assistance with their asylum and immigration claims. With at least one year’s experience of giving legal advice you will have a working knowledge of immigration and asylum law and practice and sensitivity to other cultures. An organised individual, you will have excellent interviewing and listening skills and will be capable of producing written representations. Sound WP skills are also vital.

IAS can provide an environment where you can learn all aspects of immigration law and be part of a team committed to protecting refugees’ rights. Candidates must be accredited at LSC level 1 (level 2 accreditation an advantage).

Please note that the successful candidates will be required to work form our Derby and Leicester office during the working week.
